Amazon Prime Video today unveiled the trailer of the highly-anticipated action drama Soorarai Pottru. Staring Suriya, Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal and Aparna Balamurali, the film is a fictionalized version of the book “Simply Fly” written on the life of Air Deccan founder Capt. G. R. Gopinath, a retired Army captain, who founded the low-cost airline. Helmed by Sudha Kongara (Putham Pudhu Kaalai) and produced by Suriya, and co-produced by Rajsekar Karpoorasundarapandian, Guneet Monga and Aalif Surti, Soorarai Pottru is a part of Amazon Prime Video’s exciting festive line-up.
Prime Members in India and in 200 countries and territories can stream the film starting 12th November in Tamil as well as in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam (dubs in all 3 languages) on Amazon Prime Video.

The world needs a little bit of humor and some bone tickling comedies to survive the grimness of 2020. Keeping that in mind, Zee Studios is all set to release the trailer of their new film Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari today. With Diljit Dosanjh wowing the audience with some crackling punchlines, and Fatima Sana Shaikh ready to be seen in a drastically different avatar and Manoj Bajpayee, who plays a wedding detective making his living out of spying on prospective grooms. The actor dons multiple looks in the trailer as he disguises himself while on the job.
Bajpayee plays Madhu Mangal Rane with flair and steadfast conviction. Battling him out is his equally worthy opponent, Suraj Singh Dhillon played affably by Diljit. Fatima plays a Marathi mulgi from Bombay, with a rebellious streak, whose family wants to see her settled.
Set in 1995 Bombay, the director has captured the city in all its glory. Every detail of the era is beautifully woven into the trailer, from the typical cars reminiscent of the 90s to the background score that was a trademark of the 90s Hindi films.
Talking about his passion project, Sharma says, “This film captures the innocence of bygone times. There is a certain simplicity in the tone we have used which we hope to remind people of the movies of Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Basu Chatterjee. It is a clean family-comedy. It is a funny film but we have consciously ensured to not tread into slapstick humor. It’s a take on the great Indian wedding ‘milestone’ where the whole family participated and ends up in hilarious situations.”

Anurag Basu’s multi starrer Ludo has been the talk of the town for ages now. The buzz intensified yesterday as the trailer of the film was due. The trailer dropped a few moments ago and seems like we all are up for a crazy ride with Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra and the ensemble. Directed by Basu, Ludo stars Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Rohit Suresh Saraf, Pearle Maaney and Asha Negi. The film was in the making for a long time.
The trailer that dropped today features the ensemble in a crazy and a super thrilling set up. We see a quirky Abhishek Bachchan kidnapping a small girl. There is Rajkummar Rao, who is up for helping his longtime crush. Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanya Malhotra are hatching a plan. On the other hand, is Rohit Saraf who we see drying hoards of cash on a frying pan.
Amid all this is the talented Pankaj Tripathi who plays a mafia. Ludo is a story of what happens when these lives intersect. While announcing the Ludo trailer release yesterday, Abhishek Bachchan wrote, “Game shuru hone ke baad toh sabka rang badalta hai. #Ludo trailer out tomorrow.” The film is one of the many projects that faced the wrath of the pandemic. It was set to hit the big screens earlier this year but had to be pushed. The makers finally opted for a digital release, and it is now releasing on Netflix.
Ludo is set to release on Netflix on November 19, 2020. It is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Anurag Basu, Divya Khosla Kumar, Taani Somarita Basu and Krishan Kumar.

The film stars Joju George as an unorthodox director, Indrajith Sukumaran as the charming Shereef, Sharaf U Dheen as an unmarried young lad from an orthodox family named Thoufeek, along with Grace Antony and Parvathy Thiruvothu in pivotal roles.
The trailer of the comedy-drama, Halal Love Story takes us through the perfectly imperfect journey of a group of cinema lovers from Kerala who are passionate about creating their own film but are subjected to a few guidelines to make their dreams finally come true.
Halal Love Story within the film aims to adhere to religious beliefs at every point of its production and keeps them ‘lawfully’ right from its screenplay to its casting, and even to the entire shooting process. In the pursuit of making a film that suits their beliefs, chaos and confusion follows!
Back with another thought-provoking film that will leave the audiences in splits this time, director Zakariya Mohammed said, “For me, Halal Love Story is a funny, yet beautiful, commemoration of the art of storytelling in all its forms. I am grateful to my co-writers Muhsin Parari and Ashif Kakkodi, who made this chaotic comedy possible alongside me. Halal Love Story Synopsis:
Thoufeek, an unmarried young man from a very orthodox family, is highly passionate about filmmaking. He is an active member and plays a key role in one of Kerala’s popular Islamic Organisations, which has kept his cinema dreams in halt. He’s approached by Raheem and Shereef with the idea of making a film as an initiative of the cultural wing of his organisation. They soon approach Siraj, a popular associate director to don the cap of the director. The biggest challenge for the crew is to keep the movie ‘Halal’ (Halal – a term as per Quran which means “lawful” or “allowed to do” under Islamic beliefs). As the crew follows religious guidelines in every phase of the filmmaking, massive confusions happen. An unorthodox Siraj (film director) struggles to go ahead with the project.

Paranormal, centres around Dr Refaat Ismail (Ahmed Amin), a cynical haematologist with a dark sense of humour. His world is turned upside down when his lifelong scientific convictions are questioned. The series takes place in 1969, as Refaat enters his 40s, and begins to experience a series of paranormal activities.
Throughout the show, Refaat is accompanied by his university colleague, Maggie (Razane Jammal). Together, they enter the paranormal world in an attempt to save their loved ones from the danger that surrounds them. A short clip was aired during Game 1 of the NBA Finals, which showed the Matrix star Keanu Reeves transforming into CGI for his role in the new video game Cyberpunk 2077. The trailer also features Billie Eilish’s ‘Bad Guy’ as a backing track.
In the trailer, Keanu Reeves was seen asking, “In 2077, what makes someone a criminal?. Getting caught. In Night City, you can become anyone, anything, if you body can pay the price. So seize the day, then set it on fire.”
Although the trailer didn’t show any footage of the game-play, it showed some quick glimpses at in-game character modification, shootouts and more. The trailer, which was showcased during the commercial, was promoted by Xbox. However, it’s worth pointing out that Cyberpunk 2077 will not only be available on Xbox but also on other systems as well, such as PS4 and PC.

As shown in the trailer, Keanu Reeves will play the role of Johnny Silverhand, a rocker boy, who’s anti-establishment antics stop at nothing to steer the player and the story into carnage. The game will be released on November 19 this year. Reportedly, the player will be seen roaming in and around a dystopian universe, where the world is obsessed with body modification.
In Night City, a player can look out for their next big score while Keanu Reeves‘s Johnny Silverhand will play an important role in making their journey to the next level. In the game, Silverhand will be seen as the leader and frontman of Samurai, a chrome-rock music band and fights the inhumane practices used to take more and more of people’s personal liberties, reports DailyMail.
Meanwhile, Keanu Reeves is now shooting for his upcoming film Matrix 4 in Berlin, Germany. In an interview with the Associated Press, the actor praised the producers for ensuring coronavirus safety measures on the set. He said, “There’s some really thoughtful, effective protocols in place, and the rhythm of filmmaking has not been really impacted or interrupted, in the sense of filming.”
“That’s because of the hard work and organization, and again the thoughtfulness that has gone into the protocols,” he added.
