Are you ready to witness the power of lightning and superhuman strength unleashed to defeat evil and save the world? Netflix today launched the trailer of its much awaited superhero film, Minnal Murali. Set in the 90’s, the film unfolds the tale of an ordinary man who becomes a superhuman after being struck by lightning.

The film promises to touch on various human emotions and grip the audience with action-packed performances, making this family entertainer a must-watch for the holiday season.

The film will see Malayalam heartthrob, Tovino Thomas in a never seen before avatar of a superhero. Joining him will be an ensemble of versatile actors in pivotal roles, including Guru Somasundaram, Harisree Ashokan, and Aju Varghese.. Produced by Weekend Blockbusters (Sophia Paul) and directed by Basil Joseph, Minnal Murali will premiere worldwide on December 24, 2021, exclusively on Netflix. In addition to Malayalam, the film will also premiere in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and English.

After the massive success of the 2018 hit – Satyameva Jayate, John Abraham and director Milap Milan Zaveri have reunited for its sequel. The makers who have been creating a strong buzz around the film with different posters and teaser have finally released the trailer of the much-awaited action-packed Satyameva Jayate 2 which also stars Divya Khosla Kumar.

The film promises to deliver high octane action, drama, and mass dialoguebaazi, which will be loved by the audiences who are eagerly waiting for a theatrical release amidst pandemic. The trailer shows John on a mission to fight against injustice, corruption, and misuse of power.

It’s a battle royale in Bunty Aur Babli 2 as the OG con-couple Bunty Babli, played by Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji battle it out with the new con-couple, Siddhant Chaturvedi and gorgeous big-screen debutant Sharvari, for supremacy! The rib-tickling comedy is an out-and-out family entertainer that will pit the con-stars, from different generations, against each other as they show their mastery over disguises to outwit each other and pull off outlandish cons!

Saif explains, “Films on con jobs have historically had great disguises and that’s half the fun. Nowadays we have prosthetics and makeup of a totally different level so people can expect really amazing get-ups and disguises from the cast and doing all that was a lot of fun.”

Rani explains, “Both sets of con-couples are extremely intelligent. They are the best when it comes to wearing disguises because they are the best at conning people with this skill. In this film, they come face to face with each other and it’s a battle to watch out for!”

Amazon Prime Video has released a riveting trailer of the highly anticipated horror thriller ‘Dybbuk: The Curse is Real’, starring Emraan Hashmi.

The trailer offers a sneak peek into the life of a couple who are tied down by the twisted knots of supernatural forces. It starts when Emraan’s wife in the film brings home an antique Jewish Box, which proves to be a grave mistake as it turns out to be a Dybbuk box! Dybbuk in Jewish folklore is a malevolent wandering spirit.

‘Dybbuk: The Curse is Real’ marks Emraan Hashmi’s return to his favourite genre as he’ll be seen leading the film with Nikita Dutta and Manav Kaul in key roles. And it brings out a stark contrast through its visuals as it juxtaposes the horrifying incidents with the picturesque locales of the cursed island.

The film helmed by Jay K. is the official remake of the blockbuster Malayalam film ‘Ezra’. T-Series and Panorama Studios have joined forces to produce ‘Dybbuk: The Curse is Real’.

Talking about it, Emraan Hashmi told IANS: “‘Dybbuk’ will mark my first digital feature film and I am extremely excited to have taken this journey.” He added: “The film is well-crafted and has quite a few jump-scares with a great storyline. We are bringing this film to our audiences at a time when the scarefest will be in full swing owing to Halloween and I can’t wait to see the audiences make ‘Dybbuk’ a part of their festive season watchlist.”

Director Jay K. said the film will prove to be a clutter-breaking piece of content. “With ‘Dybbuk: The Curse is Real’, the audiences will get to see a pure-play horror film. And I can assure you this film will stay with the audiences for a long time. The film’s storyline is gripping and explores a subject that hasn’t been exposed as much.”

The film brings together an eclectic mix of foreign mythology and culture and Indian storytelling sensibilities. “At the heart of the film is Jewish mythology and culture,” Jay K. explained. “The film has been designed keeping in mind the authenticity of the culture and the genre. I am glad to have talents such as Emraan, Nikita and Manav who have done justice to this story.”

Commenting on why the OTT platform ordered the film, Manish Menghani, Head, Content Licensing, Amazon Prime Video India, said, “Supernatural horror movies are very popular in India, and with ‘Dybbuk’, I feel we are going to be setting a new benchmark in this genre of entertainment in the country.”

Netflix today launched the trailer of its much-awaited film Dhamaka, which follows the story of an ambitious ex-news anchor Arjun Pathak, played by Kartik Aaryan, who is given another chance to go live on prime-time television when a terrorist calls him with a bomb threat. Little does he know that this call will change his life and throw him into a fast-paced game of betrayal.

Dhamaka is an intense human drama thriller starring Kartik Aaryan in the lead role. Joining him is a stellar lineup of the cast, including Amruta Subhash, Vikas Kumar, and Vishwajeet Pradhan along with a special appearance by Mrunal Thakur. Premiering exclusively on Netflix on 19 November 2021, the film is directed by Ram Madhvani and produced by RSVP and Ram Madhvani Films.

WWE wrestler-turned-actor John Cena strips down to his bare essentials, dancing and fighting in his underwear, as he plays a homicidally misguided costumed vigilante in the first teaser for the television series ‘Peacemaker’, reports Variety.com.

The teaser debuted on Saturday as part of the virtual fan event, DC Fandome. It opens with the Canadian Indian actor Rizwan Manji, whom audiences will remember from the comedy-drama series ‘Outsourced’. Manji plays the recurring character Jamil in ‘Peacemaker’.

A spin-off from the feature film ‘The Suicide Squad’, the series will premiere on the streaming service HBO Max in the U.S. on January 13. The series has been created and written by the film’s director, James Gunn.

It follows John Cena‘s Christopher Smith after the events of ‘The Suicide Squad’, in which Smith, aka Peacemaker, was nearly killed after betraying his team for what he believed to be the greater good.

According to Variety.com, Steve Agee and Jennifer Holland are also reprising their respective roles from the film as John and Emilia, aides to the Suicide Squad mastermind Amanda Waller. They are tasked to assist Peacemaker on his latest mission.

It is a Sunday in India and the country is in the weekend mode. But wait, DC fans out here are celebrating a more important thing. As we speak the most anticipated trailer of The Batman starring Robert Pattinson as the Cape Crusader for the first time has hit the shores and it is all kinds of dark and intriguing. It has been released by the studio as a part of the mass popular DC FanDome that has spilled a lot of gossip about the upcoming projects under the Warner Bros umbrella.

Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman is possibly the darkest and the most violent retelling of the Cape Crusader. Robert Pattinson makes his debut as the Gotham saviour. The film is set exactly a year after the saviour became Batman and is still learning the tricks of the trade. The latest trailer is a perfect insight into what we are about to get into. Read on to know everything you should about the same and don’t forget to catch the trailer.

The Batman trailer opens with Riddler getting arrested. We know that Paul Dano is playing the part but Reeves still keeps his face a mystery. Maybe there is some surprise in the look. He is out there doing crazy things and teasing the Cape Crusader. Enters Robert Pattinson kicking goons violently and giving the darkest Batman vibes ever.

The trailer also gives us the two most pivotal parts and their participation is more than their last outings definitely. Zoe Kravitz turns Catwoman and wants to know Batman’s real identity. What cannot be missed is the highly unrecognizable Colin Farrell Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot, aka the Penguin.

Meanwhile, talking about The Batman and how the movie is set just a year after he becomes the Cape Crusader, Robert Pattinson says he little bit out of control and that he likes that. “He doesn’t have as much control over his personality, like the delineation between when he’s Batman and when he’s Bruce is not so clear and other kinds of iterations of it where he really knows what he’s doing when he’s putting on the cowl,” Pattinson said.

“And I kind of really like this idea of it’s a little bit out of control. He hasn’t completely defined what Batman is. I mean, he gets lost in it whenever he’s putting on [Batman] every night. He’s not sleeping and he’s becoming this quite sort of odd creature,” Robert Pattinson added while talking to Comicbook.

The Matt Reeves directorial will hit big screens in 2022.
