The trailer of one of the most awaited projects of the year, Salaam Venky starring Kajol was launched at an event in Mumbai on Children’s Day. The film is based on a truly incredible story of a mother who fights through every challenge her son faces and helps him live life to the fullest, a celebration of life.
Helmed by Revathy, the trailer of Salaam Venky showcases Kajol as a mother and actor Vishal Jethwa as Venkatesh aka Venky, sharing a very special mother-son bond. The trailer also depicts that Venky has a deteriorating health condition but despite it, he aims to fulfill all his dreams.
Speaking about the film, veteran actor and filmmaker Revathy shared, “Salaam Venky is a project that is extremely close to my heart. I’ve always believed that mothers are real heroes and through Salaam Venky, it’s my absolute pleasure to be able to tell this incredible true story of a similar mother and her unconditional love for her son.“
The leading Superstar, Kajol added, “I feel, I am very fortunate to play the role of Sujata in Salaam Venky and also being directed by Revathy. Since the day I heard about the idea of the film, it touched my heart too deeply and I knew I definitely wanted to be a part of this wonderful story.”

This time it is going to be Michael B. Jordan versus Jonathan Majors in ‘Creed III’, as the first trailer for the movie suggests. MGM and United Artists Releasing debuted footage from the upcoming boxing sequel.
Jordan returns as Adonis ‘Donnie’ Creed, son of Rocky Balboa‘s fiercest opponent, Apollo Creed. But the actor is not just throwing punches at Majors’ antagonist Damian ‘Dame’ Anderson in the film, ‘Creed III’ also marks Jordan’s directorial debut, reports ‘Variety’.
Just as ‘Rocky’ star Sylvester Stallone went on to helm four of the franchise’s films, Jordan stakes his own claim behind the camera with an ambitious take on the material.
The footage begins with Donnie Creed on top of the world — a champion boxer on the cover of ‘Forbes’ magazine, with his wife Bianca (Tessa Thompson), a success in her own right as singer, and their daughter Amara (newcomer Mila Davis-Kent) beside them.
“I spent the last seven years of my life living out my wildest dreams,” Donnie says. “Bianca. Rocky. My dad. I stood on their shoulders.”
According to ‘Variety’, it’s then that the mystery of Majors’ role in all of this begins to crystallise, setting up the stakes between Donnie and Dame. “Let me get an autograph?” Dame says, cracking a grin while reclining against Donnie’s Rolls-Royce. “You don’t remember me, huh?”
‘Variety’ adds the footage then flashes back to the two as youngsters raising their hands in the air, soon to be confronted by police. Turns out, Dame spent the last 18 years in prison and he’s ready to start fresh, or so it seems.
But for Dame, reuniting with his “brother” Donnie and getting back into boxing — a sport in which he was the better of the two, he notes — is about much more than winning a championship belt.

The brand-new trailer and poster of the action-packed feature film traverses the hidden undersea nation called Talokan.
In the film, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba) fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of Talokan, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livinalli.
Just like the first trailer, the new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer opens with the Wakandans shown to be observing T’Challa’s funeral as his likeness watches on from a mural. A voice-over is then heard saying, “Only the most broken people can be great leaders”. The action then shifts into high gear as Namor takes his throne and with a thump of his staff, declares war on the people on the surface. M’Baku then highlights just how powerful Namor is as he informs his people don’t call him general or king but the ‘feather-serpent God’.
The trailer then features a montage of action sequences before we see Namor coming face to face with Queen Mother Ramonda and the magnificent kingdom of Wakanda in ruins. A brief glimpse shows Dominique Thorne as the newest MCU hero Ironheart, before the trailer closes on a powerful note, showing for the first time MCU’s new Black Panther.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s courtroom drama didn’t only turn into a documentary but also a movie, Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial, of which the first trailer is here. The weeks-long trial garnered attention from all over the world. Millions watched the televised case, and many others travelled for hours to watch the trial live from the court.
Even though the defamation case ended, the drama between the former Hollywood couple hasn’t. The Aquaman actress filed an appeal against the verdict that was in favour of Depp. Hers was followed by an appeal from the Pirates of the Caribbean actor as well.
There hasn’t been much development since then. Meanwhile, the film around their case, Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial, has its first trailer released. It stars Mark Hapka as Johnny Depp, Megan Davis as Amber Heard, Mary Carrig as attorney Elaine Bredehoft, and Melissa Marty as lawyer Camille Vasquez. It is directed by Sara Lohman.
Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial trailer, shared by Tubi, shares the first glimpse at the actors in the roles of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. They also capture the media circus outside the courtroom as well as Depp and Amber‘s life outside the trial. At one point there is also a scene where both the stars lock lips.

Brand new footage for Chad Stahelski’s ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ was released on Friday night (U.S. Pacific Time) as Keanu Reeves surprised the crowd at the San Diego Comic-Con with a fresh look at the beloved action hero, who’s back in action yet again, reports Variety.
After appearing at a Comic-Con panel for his Boom! Studios title ‘BRZRKR’, Reeves crashed a Directors on Directing panel, where Stahelski was a panelist, to debut the footage.
John Wick: Chapter 4’s trailer, reports Variety, “finds Wick doing what he does best: enacting revenge via any weapon he can get his hands on”. As CinemaCon footage confirmed back in April, the film’s newest installment is sure to include as much skull bashing and gun-fu as its previous chapters.
The last time audiences saw the formidable assassin was in 2019’s ‘John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’, a box-office hit that featured ninjas on motorcycles, a fight in New York City horse stables, and Halle Berry commanding a gruesome twosome of German Shepherds. Now, stuntman-turned-director Stahelski is upping the ante, according to Variety.
Previously, Stahelski had expressed that he had “no f***ing idea” how to top the stunts from Wick’s last outing. “There’s been a couple days where I’ve decided to do number four and I’ve woken up in a cold sweat going, ‘Horses! How do I beat horses?'” Stahelski said in a previous interview.

Establishing the themes of self-discovery, the theatrical trailer of ‘Thank You’ shows Naga‘s character navigating his way through life and love.
Naga Chaitanya plays Abhi in ‘Thank You’, a young and wealthy businessman who was once a happy-go-lucky guy but became self-centred and arrogant because of circumstances. He is portrayed as an aggressive man who is proud of his success.
As seen in the trailer, Naga Chaitanya sports different looks. ‘Thank You’ trailer is rich in aesthetics, as one would expect from a Vikram K. Kumar film.
The leading ladies are Raashii Khanna, Malavika Nair and Avika Gor, and the story will be driven by how they affect the life of the character played by Chaitanya.
“A greater sort of love is love that lets go rather than pressuring loved ones to stay,” Naga Chaitanya’s character says in the trailer, which hints at the film’s theme and tone.

A hard-hitting trailer of director P. Kinslin’s eagerly awaited action thriller, ‘Driver Jamuna’, featuring actress Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead, has been released in four languages, namely Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
While actors Sivakarthikeyan and Sasikumar were among those who released the Tamil version of the trailer, Suresh Productions released the Telugu version and actor Kishore released the Kannada version. The Malayalam version of the trailer was released by actor Unni Mukundan.
Aishwarya Rajesh, who is known to break sterotypes, seems to have played yet another role in this film that may well be a first for an actress. Aishwarya Rajesh plays a cab driver in ‘Driver Jamuna’ that’s been directed by Kinslin, whose earlier film, ‘Vathikuchi’, was a critically acclaimed box office success.
The trailer gives away the fact that the story takes place during a particular trip involving passengers who opt for a shared drive. The trip, Aishwarya undertakes, is between Walajabad and East Coast Road. The gripping trailer gives a glimpse of how the cab driver gets caught in the crossfire between a gang, that is out to kill a man, and the cops.
The film, which has cinematography by Gokul Benoy, has music by Ghibran and editing by Ramar.
