Junglee Pictures does it yet again with Badhaai Do, a franchise of Badhaai Ho. The makers of the film have brought the powerhouse actors Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar together on the big screen for the first time and it would be very safe to say that it is going to be one of the most loved pairs, as we can already see from their chemistry in the trailer.

It was yesterday that the makers of Badhaai Do revealed the first look and the motion poster of their lead pair Rajkummar and Bhumi which created a lot of intrigue with the audiences, and with the trailer dropping today, all that wait was worth it!

Badhaai Do promises the same comical ride of finding humour in unexpected places as Badhaai Ho. While Badhaai Ho told us what hilarious situations a middle-aged couple’s love could lead to, Badhaai Do seems to be addressing another such unusual relationship and tell their story through comedy of error situations. Of course, where there is marriage and comedy, there is a baby.

The trailer revolves around a marital setting between Rajkummar and Bhumi, only to know that there are a lot of secrets between these two to unfold. Getting into a marriage of convenience and living as roommates, is what leads to humorous situations between the pair, making this one a perfect family entertainer. It is not only high on comedy and emotions, but this family drama also deals with a socially relevant subject, that we got a glimpse of in the trailer. While not much has been revealed, the topic of the film subtly highlights the concept of “lavender marriage” making it a must watch.

The movie directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, is one of the most eagerly awaited family entertainers releasing this year in cinemas. Besides Rajkummar and Bhumi, the family entertainer also boasts of an ensemble cast featuring talented actors like Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chadha, Chum Darang, Lovleen Mishra, Nitish Pandey and Shashi Bhushan amongst others essaying pivotal roles & taking the narrative ahead.

With Zee Music as it’s music label, the film also offers some foot-tapping chartbusters, which could be witnessed with songs in the trailer that are composed by Amit Trivedi, Tanishk Bagchi, Ankit Tiwari & Khamosh Shah. The lyrics have been given by Varun Grover, Vayu, Anurag Bhumia, Azeem Shirazi & Anvita Dutt.

Junglee Pictures’ ‘Badhaai Do’ is directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, written by Akshat Ghildial and Suman Adhikary.

Badhaai Do releases on 11th February in theaters and is worldwide theatrically distributed by Zee Studios.

Amazon Prime Video today unveiled the intriguing trailer of the much-awaited Amazon Original movie, Gehraiyaan. Directed by the very talented Shakun Batra, Gehraiyaan is a relationship drama that looks beneath the surface of complex modern relationships, adulting, letting go and taking control of ones’ life path. The film features Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday in the lead along with Dhairya Karwa, Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur in pivotal roles.

Jointly produced by Viacom18 Studios, Dharma Productions and Shakun Batra’s Jouska Films, the movie will have its World Premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on February 11, 2022 in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Speaking about the film, Deepika Padukone said: “Alisha, my character in Gehraiyaan is extremely close to my heart and certainly one of the most challenging characters I have portrayed on screen. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to play a role that was fun and challenging at the same time. Each of the characters’ struggles and arcs are real, raw and relatable. Our endeavour is to take viewers on a journey they will relate to. When it comes to dealing with relationships and human emotion, Shakun is truly a master of his craft. Pop sensation and celebrated actor Jennifer Lopez is all set to return to the cinema with her upcoming romantic comedy ‘Marry Me’. The film also features Owen Wilson and Latin music star Maluma in leading roles. The movie is packed with the original songs by both the singers, JLo and Maluma. Good news is that the movie releases during the Valentine’s week in India.

Lopez as Kat Valdez, a musical superstar, and Wilson as Charlie Gilbert, a math teacher, are total strangers who agree to get married and then get to know each other in this beautiful story. An unlikely romance about two people searching for something real in a world where value is based on likes, views and followers, Marry Me is a modern love story about celebrities, marriages and social media.

Recently, JLo and Maluma were asked to narrate the plot of the movie in 60 seconds and the duo took up the challenge and did and said many interesting things for their fans.

The film also stars John Bradley (Moonfall, Game of Thrones), Michelle Buteau (Michelle Buteau: Welcome to Buteaupia) and Utkarsh Ambudkar (Mulan). Marry Me is directed by Kat Coiro. The screenplay of the film by John Rogers, Tami Sagher and Harper Dill is based on the graphic novel by Bobby Crosby. The Marvel Gods called on the power of Egyptian Moon god Khonshu and chose the first full moon to reveal the first trailer of one of their most unique projects in recent times, Moon Knight. Been in talks for more than a year, the show went on floors last year with Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke taking the lead positions. Turns out the wait is finally over, the trailer is out and guess what, even the release date has been announced for the same.

If you are unaware, Marvel announced Moon Knight in 2020 and fans were instantly hooked to any update about the same. Soon entered Oscar Isaac as the titular character, followed by Ethan Hawke as the antagonist. The show went on floors and some BTS still upped our excitement. The trailer of the show that dropped today gives us an insight into the head of the most complex Marvel superhero. Read on to know everything you should.

The Moon Knight trailer opens up to a disturbed Steven Grant played by Oscar Isaac. A gift shop employee who is plagued by blackouts and some disjointed memories of another life. Based on comics the show follows Steven who is suffering from a dissociative identity disorder. Steven is well not just Steven but shares his body with the mercenary Marc Spector. Enters the fable of Moon Knight and the enemies are behind him. Ethan Hawke enters the frame in a god-like vibe and that intrigues us.

Moon Knight cast includes Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy. The show has been directed by Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead. Internet is right now celebrating the trailer. Check some reactions below.

The trailer of ‘Unpaused: Naya Safar’, an anthology of five short films that highlight stories of hope amid Covid, was released on Saturday.

The anthology features five stories: ‘Teen Tigada’ directed by Ruchir Arun; ‘The Couple’ by Nupur Asthana; ‘Gond Ke Laddu’ by Shikha Makan; ‘War Room’ by Ayappa KM; and ‘Vaikunth’ by Nagraj Manjule of ‘Sairat’ fame. Each showcases the emotions of hope, positivity and forgiveness playing out as the pandemic rages.

Talking about the anthology and his film ‘Teen Tigada’, Ruchir Arun, said: “‘Unpaused: Naya Safar’ anthology boasts of compelling narratives, showcasing a multitude of emotions and we’re really excited to bring our film as part of this anthology. With ‘Teen Tigada’, our effort was to highlight the threshold of human emotions, amidst the tribulations of an ongoing pandemic which hit us like a storm. This film has a unique narrative, beautifully translated on screen by the actors and we hope it will resonate strongly with the masses as well.”

Director Nupur Asthana spoke about her narrative choice saying: “Layoffs were a glaring reality of the pandemic that hit professionals very hard the world over, leaving them uncertain and demotivated.”

Commenting on her film’s core theme, she said: “‘The Couple’ captures the emotional upheaval and complexities caused by such a professional setback and how it impacts personal relationships between two people, altering their realities. The first edition of the anthology beautifully struck a chord with the audience, and we hope now Unpaused Naya Safar will, am sure, open to similar love and appreciation.”

Reflecting on the impact of Covid pandemic, director Shikha Makan said: “The pandemic has affected one and all in ways that are unexpected and uncalled for. We all worry for our loved ones living far away and look for means to connect and care for them even from a distance. And sometimes we find connections with strangers too.”

Shedding light on her film’s idea, she said: “The idea of ‘Gond Ke Laddu’ was to showcase the spectrum of human bonds, but with a twist. It was an enriching experience to shoot this film with an amazing cast and crew who breathed life into this subtle yet substantial narrative. We’re sure the story will connect with the audiences at an emotional level.”

Director Ayappa KM, whose film ‘War Room’ captures the reality of frontline workers, said: “‘War Room’ showcases the vulnerability of frontline workers who encountered unfavorable situations during the outbreak of the pandemic. This is a gripping story that unravels a different facet of human emotion in duress and I owe it to the entire team for bringing it alive so beautifully.”

Vaikunth director Nagraj Manjule, said: “‘Unpaused: Naya Safar’ anthology reflects on a range of emotions with each of its films, and Vaikunth adds on to this with a unique balance of gloom and hope, peppered with unpredictability. We, as a team are humbled and honored to bring this story as part of this anthology and we hope that it stays with the audience for a long time.”

Starring an ensemble cast of Saqib Saleem, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Neena Kulkarni and Priyanshu Painyuli, ‘Unpaused: Naya Safar’, will be available to stream on Prime Video from January 21.

The theatrical trailer of Naga Chaitanya and Nagarjuna starrer Bangarraju is out now. The trailer gives a glimpse at the supernatural elements in the movie.

Earlier the musical night event was held in Hyderabad as the father-son duo sounded confident about the movie’s success.

The makers of Bangarraju took to their social media to release the theatrical trailer of the much-awaited Sankranti release. Starring Akkineni Nagarjuna and his son Naga Chaitanya in the lead roles, the trailer seems apt for the festival release.

Bangarraju introduces Naga Chaitanya as the playboy of the village, Ramya Krishna and Nagarjuna play his parents. They seem to have passed away, but watch their son from heaven, protecting him from a few problems.

A few other aspects from the Kalyan Krishna’s directorial are revealed in the trailer, as heroine Krithi Shetty is introduced in a village-belle avatar.

On the other hand, the supernatural elements take the viewers into a serious mode, as actor Naga Babu is introduced as the Yama Dharma Raja, while the rest of the Bangarraju trailer gives glimpses of things related to God.

Zee Studios and Annapurna Studios Pvt Ltd have jointly produced the film, which is slated for release on January 14.

Touted to be the sequel to Nagarjuna-starrer ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, which was released on Sankranthi, Bangarraju is expected to become a hit too.

When dark secrets of the medical world are revealed, will the brave live to expose the truth or be consumed in a dangerous web of lies and deception? After a year of back to back successes with shows like Special Ops 1.5, Aarya 2, November Story and many others, Disney+ Hotstar kick starts the year 2022 with the launch of Human, a medical thriller based on Human drug trials in India. The series boasts of an absolute stellar cast headlined by National award-winning actor Shefali Shah and versatile actor Kirti Kulhari along with Vishal Jethwa, Ram Kapoor, Seema Biswas, Aditya Srivastava and Mohan Agashe amongst others. The suspense thriller, Human, unravels unexpected secrets of the world of medicines and its effect on people with a gripping tale of murder, mystery, lust, and manipulation. Directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Mozez Singh, the Disney+ Hotstar Specials series has been penned by Mozez Singh and Ishani Banerjee. The forthcoming medical thriller drama produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah of Sunshine Pictures Pvt. Ltd, releases on 14th January 2022 and will also be available on Hulu.

The fictional series enunciates the collateral damage due to fast-tracked drug trials for financial gains in a gripping tale that involves innocent lives lost to greed. Touching compelling themes like the value of human life, medical malpractice, class divide and ramifications of a fast-paced medical science, Human brings forth the greed to make money in a compelling tale of power struggles, secretive pasts, trauma and murders.

Talking about the series, producer and director Vipul Amrutlal Shah said, “Human delves into the complexities of human nature with a backdrop of the medical world. It explores the dark and twisted world of unethical human trials in a provocative yet real and gritty manner. It showcases aspects of the unknown medical world laden with suspense at every turn. Mozez Singh and Ishani Banerjee have done a wonderful job with the script and the incredibly talented ensemble starcast makes Human an exciting watch.”

Sharing his experience of working on the script of Human, writer and director, Mozez Singh said, “Human is a series that deals with a very unique take on life and death. It questions the value of human life and the extent human beings will go to run away from their grief, guilt and shame. The repercussions of this can have extreme effects on the lives of the people involved, creating escalating drama and conflict between all of them and allowing the narrative to be truly explosive, especially when you throw in the barriers of class into the mix. Getting to explore all of the above with my co-writer Ishani Banerjee and the rest of the writers room was a true honour and I’m extremely grateful to Sunshine Pictures for giving me the opportunity. This was an intense project for me as it has several elements that resonated with me. On a personal level and therefore I was constantly inspired and determined to give my best. I’m proud of what we have delivered.”

Actor Shefali Shah, who is playing the lead character of Dr Gauri Nath, in the series said, “Human as a series is extremely relevant and relatable in today’s time. When I read the script, I couldn’t help but imagine our current scenario, a world of hospitals and vaccine trials. It makes one question humanity and everything that transpires to keep it intact. Gauri Nath is someone you rarely come across. It’s one of the most complicated characters I’ve ever played, and completely out of my comfort zone. She is unpredictable and indecipherable. Human is Pandora’s box of emotions, actions and consequences. And you’d never know what hit you from the dark depths of its complexities.”

Actor Kirti Kulkarni, playing Dr Saira Sabarwal in the series said, “It has been an absolute pleasure and thrill to play the role of Dr Saira Sabharwal. It’s the first time that I am playing a doctor on screen, a world that I am not completely unfamiliar with as my sister and brother in law are doctors. I did get a lot of insight by speaking to both of them and other doctors. During that phase, I would get into a conversation with whichever doctor I met which could help me with my character. Apart from that, Human is such a layered and complex story, it immediately pulled me towards it. Also, the fact that Shefali Shah would be a part of the same show with me really excited me. She is someone I really look up to and I have truly enjoyed her work as an actor and I was thrilled to share screen space with her. The show also has other wonderful actors and I also met a psychologist to discuss some aspects of my character. I basically got into the mindsets and world of the doctors, speaking to various people and understanding various aspects of how they function in the workspace and outside of it. It’s the first time I am playing a doctor and it’s a thrilling experience, my fans too are going to really enjoy my role as Dr Saira Sabharwal. Super excited for Human.”

Synopsis: A pharma giant is using India’s lax clinical trial rules to fast track the development of a new drug, despite lethal side effects. Meanwhile, 35-year-old Dr Saira Sabharwal lands a dream job in Bhopal’s premier hospital under the mentorship of the iconic 45-year-old Dr Gauri Nath. Saira grows under Gauri’s tutelage and as the two women start to form a deep bond over their commitment to the medical cause. However, a shocking discovery throws their life into chaos as their story becomes intertwined with that of a young migrant worker, Mangu (20 years), who is all set to wreak havoc on the medical system.

From Warner Bros. Pictures comes Matt Reeves’ The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson in the dual role of Gotham City’s vigilante detective and his alter ego, reclusive billionaire Bruce Wayne.

Two years of stalking the streets as the Batman (Robert Pattinson), striking fear into the hearts of criminals, has led Bruce Wayne deep into the shadows of Gotham City. With only a few trusted allies-Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis), Lt. James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright)-amongst the city’s corrupt network of officials and high-profile figures, the lone vigilante has established himself as the sole embodiment of vengeance amongst his fellow citizens.

When a killer targets Gotham’s elite with a series of sadistic machinations, a trail of cryptic clues sends the World’s Greatest Detective on an investigation into the underworld, where he encounters such characters as Selina Kyle/aka Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz), Oswald Cobblepot/aka the Penguin (Colin Farrell), Carmine Falcone (John Turturro), and Edward Nashton/aka the Riddler (Paul Dano). As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the perpetrator’s plans becomes clear, Batman must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit, and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued Gotham City.

Starring alongside Robert Pattinson as Gotham’s famous and infamous cast of characters are Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as mayoral candidate Bella Reál with Andy Serkis and Colin Farrell.

Reeves directed from a screenplay by Reeves & Peter Craig, based on characters from DC. Batman was created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger. Dylan Clark and Reeves produced the film, with Michael E. Uslan, Walter Hamada, Chantal Nong Vo, and Simon Emanuel serving as executive producers.

The Batman is set to open in Cinemas in India on March 4, 2022. It will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Giving another festive treat to their fans, the makers have dropped the trailer of their upcoming animated film ‘Bad Guys’. In the trailer, we see Mr Wolf (Sam Rockwell), Mr Snake (Marc Maron), Mr Shark (Robinson), Mr Piranha (Anthony Ramos) and Ms Tarantula (Awkwafina) teaming for the biggest heist of their life. Nobody has ever failed so hard at trying to be good as The Bad Guys. The new action-comedy from DreamWorks Animation, based on the New York Times best-selling book series, a crackerjack criminal crew of animal outlaws are about to attempt their most challenging con yet—becoming model citizens.

The film co-stars Zazie Beetz (Joker), Lilly Singh (Bad Moms) and Emmy winner Alex Borstein (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel). Based on the blockbuster Scholastic book series by Aaron Blabey, The Bad Guys is directed by Pierre Perifel (animator, the Kung Fu Panda films), making his feature directing debut.

After a long wait, the makers of SS Rajamouli’s much anticipated star-studded period action drama ‘RRR’ have unveiled the trailer of the film, adding much delight to the audiences. The excitement around the film Jr. NTR, Ajay Devgan, Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt, has increased many folds as it has been a subject of heated discussion ever since the film was announced.

Much like the previous assets of the film, the trailer showcased the changed avatars of the actors. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgan, Ram Charan and Jr. NTR rippled the waves of everyone’s hearts as they roar on screen with their fierce and interesting roles. The picturesque locations, subtle cinematography and patriotic sequences are truly unmatchable. It gives us a glimpse of the intriguing ride in store, and has built the anticipation further for the audiences wanting more.

The trailer launch was followed by a grand event in Mumbai.

‘RRR’ is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively. Apart from this, there are many details that are not revealed, like Ajay and Alia’s character for starters, even the song Janani doesn’t give out a clear picture about the film or their characters.

As the story is going to be emotional yet filled with a lot of action and drama and plus the scale it has been made is so huge that the makers want the audiences to enjoy the visuals in the theater. RRR includes a star-studded lineup besides lead actors Ram Charan and Jr. NTR. Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris will be seen in pivotal roles while Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody join in as supporting roles.

Jayantilal Gada (PEN) has bagged the theatrical distribution rights across North India and has also bought worldwide electronic rights for all languages. Pen Marudhar will be distributing the film in the North Territory.

The Telugu-language period action drama film is produced by D. V. V. Danayya of DVV Entertainments. ‘RRR’ is releasing on 7th January, 2022.

Netflix surprised fans with a bonus trailer of Minnal Murali today that peeks into the superhero universe and leaves you intrigued at all the possibilities. Minnal Murali, the upcoming superhero film on Netflix has been breaking records and stealing hearts across the country. Lightning power, an epic origin story and the tale of good vs. evil, the trailer that was released today promises to evoke a range of emotions and captivate audiences, making it the perfect Christmas holiday movie. The film will premiere in Malayalam with dubs in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and English.

Tovino Thomas will star in the upcoming superhero film as the superhuman ‘Minnal Murali’, alongside Guru Somasundaram, Harisree Ashokan, and Aju Varghese in pivotal roles. Produced by Weekend Blockbusters (Sophia Paul) and directed by Basil Joseph, the super hero film will premiere worldwide on December 24, 2021, exclusively on Netflix.
