Thambi Trailer: Karthi & Jyothika’s Suspense Thriller Intrigues Fans!

Post garnering overwhelming response for the teaser of Karthi and Jyothika starrer Thambi last month. The makers finally unveiled the trailer of the film -yesterday evening.

Jyothika’s husband and Karthi’s brother, Kollywood superstar Suriya took to his Twitter to share the trailer with his fans and followers. The actor also mentioned that he can’t wait to watch the film and also wished good luck to team Thambi.

Talking about the trailer, the 2-minute 18-second video is a roller coaster ride filled with emotions, suspense and thrill. One gets to see Jyotika’s character lost in thoughts of her younger brother Sarvanana (played by Karthi) who ran away from home 15 years ago. In the following scene, the actress can be seen in conversation with their father (played by Sathyaraj) on Sarvanan’s birthday, as they miss him and can be seen all sad. Jyothika and Sathyaraj are informed about Karthi’s whereabouts and his lifestyle by a stranger. Following which Sathyaraj tracks his son and takes him home. Karthi gets a warm welcome on his return by his family members, but his sister is still not ready to believe that he is her brother as she finds him doubtful and quite suspicious.

Talking about the film, with Thambi viewers will get to see Jyothika and Karthi share the same screen space on the big screen for the first time.

The suspense drama also stars Anson Paul, Nikhila Vimal, Ammu Abhirami in pivotal roles.

Thambi is been helmed by Papanasam director Jeethu Joseph, and it is been bankrolled by Suraj Sadanah under Viacom 18 Motion Pictures production house.

The Karthi and Jyothika starrer will hit big screens on 20th December.

The makers made the big news around the trailer being unveiled on the occasion of World Human Rights Day, yesterday. With the help of a metaphorical video that showcased a spillage of water in black and white, the makers announced the trailer release and it was enough of a hint to what we could be expecting.

The trailer showcases Deepika Padukone as Malti, the acid attack survivor who’s been under the society’s radar ever since she went through the unfortunate incident. From being questioned about staying in touch with multiple guys before the incident to the consequences she faced post it, there’s a lot happening in the trailer. But most of all, the highlight is the fact that this tale is not about grief, but about all that, she’s worth celebrating.

Chhapaak is based on a true story, inspired by the life of acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal. Deepika plays Laxmi while Vikrant Massey essays her boyfriend. The movie is scheduled to release on January 10, 2020.

In March, the Padmaavat star unveiled the first look of Chhapaak in which she was seen with prosthetics of scars and burns on her face.

Vikrant Massey, who will soon be seen in the Meghna Gulzar-directed “Chhapaak”, only has glowing praise for Deepika Padukone, his co-star in the film.

“It was great working with her. I have always said this that she is one of the finest co-actors I have worked within my career,” said Vikrant, while interacting with the media in Mumbai.

Chhapaak is co-produced by Deepika Padukone and Meghna Gulzar in collaboration with Fox Star Studios.

The film has gorgeous Rashi Khanna as Sai Dharam Raj’s lover. Whereas, veteran actor Rao Ramesh is seen playing one of Sathyaraj’s two sons.

Sab Kushal Mangal, the upcoming feature film from One Up Entertainment, has been steadily increasing its buzz thanks to its quirky and fun nature. It is no surprise that the trailer launch event for such a film was equally unpredictable and surprising.

With a full mandap setup on the stage, the press was bewildered as to why a wedding function was preceding a trailer launch. Enters Akshaye Khanna from stage right, in full thrall of his hilarious and instantly memorable character, Baba Bhandari, ready to claim his love. Not to be outdone, debutant Priyaank Sharma entered from the other side, declaring his love for the same girl.

In true Bollywood fashion, a doli came down the theatre entrance carrying the girl du jour, debutant Riva Kishan, while the film’s title track was sung live and unplugged in the background.

The audience went wild and the atmosphere was electric, only to be outdone by the laugh-out-loud trailer that followed on the silver screen moments after.

Other notable figures in attendance were Priyaank’s mother, actor Padmini Kohlapuri, and Riva’s father, actor-politician, Ravi Kishan. Both proud parents could be seen recording their children’s first major press conference from the front row of the theatre. While Padmini Kolhapure spoke lovingly about her son’s dedication and passion for the craft of acting, Ravi Kishan couldn’t hold back his excitement and even performed the title track of the film, only to grow emotional as the event went on, seeing his little girl turn into a star.

Both the debutantes handled the questions from the media rather well.

Also present were veteran Producer & presenter of this film, Nitin Manmohan, Sanjay Punamiya, actors Satish Kaushik & Rakesh Bedi, lyricist Sameer Anjaan, Music composer Harshit Saxena, Siddhant Kapoor, Producer Pradeep Sharma (Priyaank’s father), director Karan Vishwanath Kashyap and the charming Prachi Nitin Manmohan, who also makes her debut as a Producer with “Sab Kushal Mangal”.

The trailer that was launched yesterday has already crossed 6 million views.

The film releases worldwide on 3rd January, 2020.

Only when we thought that the ever-growing world of many Avengers character’s has come to an end, the makers at Marvel Cinema added a new film to the legacy. Black Widow aka Scarlet Johansson, who died in Avengers Endgame, has finally got her own story which is a stand-alone movie focusing on Natasha Romanoff’s blood-stained past. The just-released trailer is giving us the gist of her life and a gripping introduction into what’s to come ahead.

The trailer begins with intense music and we see Scarlett Johansson in her Black Widow avatar. She tells that she wants to forget her past and move on but ends up in Budapest (a location that Clint Barton (Hawkeye) referenced multiple times in various Avengers movies). The Black Widow also encounters Yelena Belova essayed by Florence Pugh, the second Black Widow in the comics series, and is referred to as Romanoff’s sister in the trailer. Black Widow also casts David Harbour, Rachel Weisz.
