Fast & Furious 9 Trailer: We don’t have Dwayne Johnson this time but Vin Diesel will face John Cena and guess what? They’re brothers! That’s not even a big spoiler of the trailer until you find out what’s coming at the end.

When Fast & Furious saga makers run out of ideas about how to make cars more faster and entertaining, they do attach a rocket engine on the top of them. That’s literally what’s happening in the trailer and you are unable to hold your breath because it’s literally FAST.

So, John Cena as Jacob is Vin Diesel aka Dom’s brother and he’s here to take on him for the one last time. The saga usually has shown how Dom has made his family over the years but now we’ll see his real family trying to take him down.

The Fast And Furious star Vin Diesel recently took to Instagram and posted a picture in which he is seen flaunting his beef on the beach, clad only in a pair of board shorts.

“We will find a way, or we will make one… Barca BC,” Diesel captioned the image.

Diesel’s underwear shows in the pic, with Barca BC printed on it. The reference is to the name of a video game the actor launched in 2011, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Fast & Furious 9 will hit the theaters on May 22, 2020, and it’s to be seen if the makers have more trailers in the store for us.

Post the success of his last release Falaknuma Das, actor Vishwak Sen is back in action after a gap of close to one year. The 24-year-old actor this time is set to give an edge of the seat experience with his next and the much talked about investigative thriller Hit.

It was yesterday when Baahubali actor Rana Daggubati took to his Twitter handle to unveil the teaser of Vishwak Sen’s Hit. The Telugu superstar along with the teaser had a sweet message for Vishwak Sen and the team of Hit as Rana’s tweet read: “Intriguing!! Vishwak striking again!! Best wishes to the team.”

More about Hit, the thriller has Ruhani Sharma as the film’s leading lady along with Murali Sharma and Hari Teja in key roles.

The Vishwak Sen starrer is been helmed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu and it is been bankrolled by Telugu actor Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni. Music for the film is been composed by Vivek Sagar.

Hit will release on big screens on 28th February.

Thappad Trailer: Taapsee Pannu & Anubhav Sinha Question The ‘Norms’ Of Married Life Which Aren’t Normal

Thappad Trailer: Taapsee Pannu & Anubhav Sinha are back with yet another hard-hitting drama that raises an important question. Often, in marriages, people shrug off the issue of a husband slapping his wife as ‘trivial’. It is not seen as something major or problematic on a large scale. Even the poster had text which reads – “Thappad – Bas Itni Si Baat?”

However, Taapsee Pannu’s film is here to show that it is not OKAY to slap a wife and it also accounts to domestic violence. The trailer starts with Taapsee’s lawyer asks her the reason for legal notice whether it’s an affair or some any other issue. When the actress says it’s none of it, the lawyer asks – is it just a slap? To which the Badla actress says ‘it’s just a slap, but it’s not right’.

Thappad trailer shows couple who is living a happy and blissful life together. However, one day, amid a party, Taapsee Pannu’s husband, played by actor Pavail Gulati slaps the actress. Everything changes in the couple’s life post this incident. After this, when Taapsee Pannu’s character goes to file a complaint against her husband, she is told by almost everyone to let it go as it was just a ‘slap’. However, for Taapsee it isn’t because it shouldn’t be. That’s what this film is here to show and we are impressed with the trailer as it touches upon an important issue.

The film also has important roles played by Shabana Azmi and Dia Mirza. The trailer certain dialogues and scenes which shows how women should adjust in married life and ignore as it was just a ‘slap’ by her husband. The fight for Taapsee’s character is not easy and she is also told by her father in the film that some fights are fought only because they are right and not everything right has a ‘happy result’.

Thappad is directed by Anubhav Sinha who is known for making films that deal with the harsh realities in the society. After Mulk, Taapsee and Anubhav are back to question the actions in the society which are normalised to such an extent that people have stopped questioning them.

Thappad is produced by T-series, Benaras Mediaworks. The film will hit the screens on February 28, 2020.

Bhoot: Part One – The Haunted Ship Teaser: Not Just Vicky Kaushal, Even We Are Shocked & Curious!

Bhoot: Part One – The Haunted Ship: Vicky Kaushal is all set to enthral us with his upcoming horror film soon. Yesterday, after sharing an intriguing poster, the makers shared the official teaser of the film and it is all set to leave you asking for more.

In the 58-second teaser, the makers haven’t given any idea of what to expect. A confused Vicky Kaushal is wandering in the ship looking for something with a torch in his hand. We hear a voice in the background which is an announcement asking him where is he in the ship. However, Vicky is too lost in following the blood imprints of hands on the wall. As Vicky keeps walking, he enters a room which has a huge carving of his face on a wall. The actor is shocked to see his face on the wall.

As Vicky walks towards the painting, the hands printed on the wall come to life and try to engulf him inside the painting. That’s where the teaser ends. While we are curious to know what happened and what happens, we are also disappointed that the makers didn’t give us more. Looks like we will have to wait for the trailer to see what’s in the store for us.

Bhoot: Part One – The Haunted Ship is helmed by Bhanu Pratap Singh who used to work as an assistant director with Shashank Khaitan for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014). The film is produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar, Shashank Khaitan and Apoorva Mehta.

The makers have planned to make a Bhoot series and it won’t just include scary stories, they will also have horror-comedies in their series.

The trailer of Jaanu which we all had been waiting for from the past number of weeks has finally been unveiled. Samantha Akkineni launched the trailer of her much-anticipated film this evening. Following which the versatile actress took to her Twitter account to share it among her fans and followers.

Talking about the trailer, the 2 minute 17 second video starts with Sharwanand aka Ram, a travel photographer busy with his regular life exploring subjects for his photography, followed by a visit to his school for a reunion with his former classmates. The actor over there can be seen reminiscing good old days there as a student with his childhood sweetheart Samantha aka Jaanu.

The actor duo of Samantha and Sharwanand at the reunion meet after a long time following which they can be seen expressing the feelings that they had for each other and followed by a mixture of emotions.

Must add that the lead pair looks amazing together, especially the emotions and the chemistry between the duo which we get to see in the trailer.

Jaanu is a remake of 2018 released Tamil hit 96. The original had Tamil stars Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha in lead.

Just like the original, the remake too has been helmed by filmmaker C.Prem Kumar.

The romantic drama is been bankrolled by producer Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Music for Jaanu is been composed by music director Govind Vasthana.

The Samantha-Sharwanand starrer will hit big screens on 7th February.

Music Review: Panga

<strong>EXPECTATIONS</strong> One expects situational soundtrack for <em>Panga</em>, considering the fact that it is a slice of life film with sports as the core theme. Though Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Javed Akhtar come together to create half a dozen songs for the film, one doesn't quite expect a chartbuster outing here since there has hardly been any promotion either for the music as the focus has been on the film. <img class="aligncenter wp-image-1068031 size-full" title="Music Review: Panga" src="https://ift.tt/36wTBT9" alt="Music Review: Panga" width="720" height="450" /> <strong>MUSIC</strong> Harshdeep Kaur, Divya Kumar and Siddharth Mahadevan come together to create the title song <strong><em>'Panga'</em></strong> which has a good hook to it. A feel good number with a catchy rhythm, this one has certain nicety to it, courtesy the manner in which the singers come together to croon this one. This one has an anthem feel to it and could have covered some distance with good promotion. Jassie Gill, the leading man of <em>Panga</em>, takes charge as a singer for <strong><em>'Dil Ne Kaha</em></strong>', which has the kind of sound that one associates with Salman Khan's Dabangg franchise. Reminding one of <strong><em>'Tere Mast</em></strong> <strong><em>Mast Do Nain'</em></strong> with a bit of 'Brathless' feel to it in the manner in which it begins, <strong><em>'Dil Ne Kaha'</em></strong> is a romantic track that comes in two versions with Jassie Gill and then Shahid Mallya taking charge. Asees Kaur is the common factor in both the songs and she does well as she has been over a period of time now. Next to arrive is <strong><em>'Bibby Song'</em></strong> and this one tries to be all funny. However, at best this one is a situational track with no real appeal outside the film. Annu Kapoor comes behind the mike for this one alongside Sherry and you don't really get hooked on it. As a matter of fact you move on to the next in line soon enough to check out what rest of the soundtrack has to offer. Shankar Mahadevan makes a belated entry as a singer with <strong><em>'Jugnu'</em></strong> and he has Sunny for company. Though he does well as a singer all over again due to his characteristic voice, overall the music - with a Sufi touch to it - stays on to be situational at best. A montage number which is about dreams and aspirations, it goes with the theme of the film but that's about it. Last to arrive is <strong><em>'Wahi Hai Raste'</em></strong> which has Mohan Kannan taking charge. This one brings with it the mood and feel which one associates with the kind that was heard in the non-mainstream films of the 70s. A little later in the album, Asees Kaur's voice is heard. With Bengali folk music base to it, <strong><em>'Wahi Hai</em></strong> <strong><em>Raste'</em></strong> is just about okay and doesn't quite warrant repeat hearing. <strong>OVERALL</strong> The music of <em>Panga</em> is largely situational with a couple of songs at the beginning making some sort of an impression. <strong>OUR PICK(S)</strong> <em>'Panga', 'Dil Ne Kaha'</em>

The makers of ‘Shikara’ has released an all-new, second trailer of the film which reflects down to the alarming conditions of 1989 when the Kashmiri Pandits had to leave Kashmir. The gut-wrenching trailer definitely brings out the hard-hitting story that the filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra is all set to present to the audience on 7 February, this year.

The first frame of the trailer itself puts the grisly reality out where the ‘farman’ announces how the Kashmiri Pandits were forced to leave the land. With the visuals of the violence to the lead actors Adil Khan and Sadia’s paradise in conflict, everything about the second trailer details out the storyline bringing the untold story of Kashmiri Pandits.

Ever since the release of the first trailer, the curiosity factor has been on an all-time high with the subject and storyline that it carries. ‘Shikara’ brings back the untold story of Kashmiri pandits from the valley of 1990 and has 40,000 real migrants of Jagti and other camps who shot for the film. The movie also has actual footage from the exodus included.

The assets from Shikara has been garnering immense appreciation from all across- from the community to the industry’s known voices, critics and the audiences. On the 30 year anniversary of the day that marks immense historical relevance, the makers of the film also organised a special screening of the movie for the real Kashmiri Pandits refugees who left their homes during the mass exodus of 1990, in New Delhi on the 19th of January.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rahul Pandita recently also attended the prestigious Jaipur Literature Festival 2020 and was part of a special panel discussion at the event. Talking about the whole subject, the director also expressed his hope to open a film school in Kashmir.

The film also is also special on the note, where four thousand real Kashmiri pandits shot once more to recreate the dismantling of 1990’s Kashmiri valley. From real people to real stories, everything about ‘Shikara’ has been kept very close to reality.
