Durgamati Trailer: After sharing an intriguing teaser yesterday, the makers finally dropped the trailer today. Recently, the makers changed the title as it was earlier called Durgavati. But what’s not changed is the thrilling factor. Bhumi Pednekar is her to provide a spine-chilling experience with her story.
In the film, Bhumi will play the role of an IAS officer. It’s a horror film which is a remake of 2018 Telugu-Tamil film, Bhaagamathie. The original film starred Anushka Shetty in the lead role. Director G Ashok, who made the original has also helmed the remake.
The trailer begins on a serious note with Arshad Warsi and Mahie Gill’s characters talking about the Durga temple. They decide to send Chanchal (Bhumi Pednekar) to achieve what they want. But they didn’t’ expect things to go scary as Chanchal turns Durgamati. There are a lot of petrifying scenes featuring the Bala actress. The last one minute of the trailer will give you goosebumps for sure.
It appears like a story of revenge and it can be said that nothing can stop Chanchal. The film promises a spine-tingling horror and story of revenge for sure. The makers describe the trailer as, “Durgavati is crafted as a fast-paced, intelligent thriller in a twist-a-minute style and has strongly etched characters that will create a deep impact with the audience as they are gripped by the world of conspiracy and crime, served with a layer of scare.”

Durgamati or Durgamati: The Myth is produced by Akshay Kumar‘s Cape Of Good Films. Earlier, the actor had talked about casting Bhumi Pednekar to play the lead role. He said that the role demanded a girl-next-door personality and Bhumi Pednekar had fit the bill.
Durgamati will release on Amazon Prime Video on December 11, 2020.

While the makers of Kiara Advani‘s Indoo Ki Jawani were considering an OTT premiere during the eight-month theatre shutdown, they took the tough call of waiting it out as a mark of support to cinemas. Director Abir Sengupta, who makes his Bollywood debut with the coming-of-age comedy says, “We believe that audiences are looking forward to the cinema experience. In today’s difficult times, we need a dose of entertainment, and a fun-filled film like Indoo Ki Jawani will cater to those who want the big-screen experience.”
Talking about releasing Indoo Ki Jawani in theatres amidst the current COVID-19 situation, he adds, “Nothing is more important than human lives, and I am sure theatre owners are taking adequate measures to ensure the audience’s safety. So, I hope people will step into the theatres like before.”
A time when real-life meet-cutes have been replaced by right swipes, director Abir Sengupta believes it is fascinating to trace how love has evolved due to dating apps. “The concept of dating has been changing with every passing generation. But we are in a time where right swipes allow you to meet so many people. There is gender equality, as everyone can go ahead and find the right partner. I have come across many who have found their life partners on dating apps. But, at times, even right swipes can go wrong. So, one should take time before forming a judgment about the other person. I strongly believe in love and finding one’s soulmate. Dating apps are a faster medium to find that person”, says Indoo Ki Jawani’s director as he roots for these apps.

Synopsis of the film is as Torbaaz is the story of one man who rises above his personal tragedy and decides to transform the lives of few refugee camp kids who are on the path of destruction through the game of cricket.

Amazon Prime Video today unveiled the trailer of the highly-anticipated action drama Soorarai Pottru. Staring Suriya, Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal and Aparna Balamurali, the film is a fictionalized version of the book “Simply Fly” written on the life of Air Deccan founder Capt. G. R. Gopinath, a retired Army captain, who founded the low-cost airline. Helmed by Sudha Kongara (Putham Pudhu Kaalai) and produced by Suriya, and co-produced by Rajsekar Karpoorasundarapandian, Guneet Monga and Aalif Surti, Soorarai Pottru is a part of Amazon Prime Video’s exciting festive line-up.

The world needs a little bit of humor and some bone tickling comedies to survive the grimness of 2020. Keeping that in mind, Zee Studios is all set to release the trailer of their new film Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari today. With Diljit Dosanjh wowing the audience with some crackling punchlines, and Fatima Sana Shaikh ready to be seen in a drastically different avatar and Manoj Bajpayee, who plays a wedding detective making his living out of spying on prospective grooms. The actor dons multiple looks in the trailer as he disguises himself while on the job.
Bajpayee plays Madhu Mangal Rane with flair and steadfast conviction. Battling him out is his equally worthy opponent, Suraj Singh Dhillon played affably by Diljit. Fatima plays a Marathi mulgi from Bombay, with a rebellious streak, whose family wants to see her settled.
Set in 1995 Bombay, the director has captured the city in all its glory. Every detail of the era is beautifully woven into the trailer, from the typical cars reminiscent of the 90s to the background score that was a trademark of the 90s Hindi films.
Talking about his passion project, Sharma says, “This film captures the innocence of bygone times. There is a certain simplicity in the tone we have used which we hope to remind people of the movies of Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Basu Chatterjee. It is a clean family-comedy. It is a funny film but we have consciously ensured to not tread into slapstick humor. It’s a take on the great Indian wedding ‘milestone’ where the whole family participated and ends up in hilarious situations.”

The trailer that dropped today features the ensemble in a crazy and a super thrilling set up. We see a quirky Abhishek Bachchan kidnapping a small girl. There is Rajkummar Rao, who is up for helping his longtime crush. Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanya Malhotra are hatching a plan. While announcing the Ludo trailer release yesterday, Abhishek Bachchan wrote, “Game shuru hone ke baad toh sabka rang badalta hai. #Ludo trailer out tomorrow.” The film is one of the many projects that faced the wrath of the pandemic. It was set to hit the big screens earlier this year but had to be pushed. The makers finally opted for a digital release, and it is now releasing on Netflix.
Ludo is set to release on Netflix on November 19, 2020. It is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Anurag Basu, Divya Khosla Kumar, Taani Somarita Basu and Krishan Kumar.
