Mission Mangal Trailer: Akshay Kumar along with his grand star cast consisting Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi amongst others is coming to unravel their space journey, Mission Mangal. The trailer released just now, and it’s sure to shine brighter than the stars!
The trailer begins with Akshay Kumar convincing his boss to use ‘home science’ techniques to launch a rocket in mars. Baffled with the thought, the story of the story involves their journey towards success along with the individual journey of each character. There’s thrill, there’s humour, there’s emotion and there’s visual spectacle adding to it all! Indeed a magnum opus on cards, and how!
Most of all, considering the multi-starrer fact, we love how equal weightage has been given to each and every actor in the trailer. That itself denotes that this space ride is going to be one hell of an interesting ride for us!

Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal is based on the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), or the Mangalyaan project launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in November 2013, to put a space probe in planet Mars’ orbit.

Earlier talking about the film, Akshay shared that “Mission Mangal” is a movie he did especially for his daughter and other children her age.
“Mission Mangal, a film which I hope will inspire as much as entertain. A film which I’ve done specially for my daughter and children her age to familiarise them with the incredible true story of India’s mission to Mars,” he had tweeted.
Arriving this Independence Day, it also stars Nithya Menen, Dilip Tahil with Jagan Shakti helming the film.
