Mollywood megastar Mohanlal is all set to entertain his fans and moviegoers with his period actioner, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham. The versatile actor, who was last seen in Big Brother, took to his Twitter handle yesterday to share a teaser from the magnum opus, Marakkar.

Talking about the teaser, the 40-second video opens with a beautiful shot of an Eagle flying over a grassland followed ships marching forward in the sea and a Portuguese soldier attacking a villager.
One gets to see Mohanlal in a get up of a brave warrior Marakkar, on a horse explaining his fellow villagers the importance of safeguarding their soil and protecting it from the attack of the outsiders i.e Portugals.
About Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, set in 16th Century, the film is based on the exploits of Kunjali Marakkar IV, the naval chieftain of the Zamorin Of Calicut.

The magnum opus also stars Mollywood actress Manju Warrier, National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh, Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, Siddique, Nedumudi Venu, Prabhu, Arjun Sarja, Renji Panicker, Innocent with others in key roles.
The period actioner is been helmed by Mohanlal’s friend and ace filmmaker Priyadarshan. The film is been produced by Antony Perumbavoor, Santosh T Kuruvilla and Roy C J under the banners od Aashirvad Cinemas, and Moonshot Entertainments Confident Group.
Apart from Malayalam, the Mohanlal starrer will also release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages on 26th March.
